Procedure to set-up Android Device –
1. Now Connect your Android with PC using Data Cable.
2. Now open the folder where you installed “Android SDK Tool”.
3. In General it’s here – Users>App Data>Local>Android>Android SDK>Platform Tools
4. Enable “Show Hidden Files And Folder” as “App Data” Folder is Hidden in the Users in C Drive.
Note – Select Your PC’s Name in Users Folder in C Drive then click on “App Data”.
5. Now right click on “Platform Tools” Folder and select “Open Command Window Here”.
Note – You can simply open CMD by searching it in “Start”.
6. Now Enter the Following Command –
adb shell
cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases
sqlite3 settings.db
update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;
update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;
.quit
Note – If the above command is not working then use below command –
adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key
7. Done!! Reboot your phone and you will see that your pattern lock is removed.
How to Enable USB Debugging –
1) First of all Go to your Phone’s Setting and click on “About Phone”.
2) Now Tap On “Build Number” 7 Times.
3) Now you’ll see a pop-up appearing like “You Have Now Become A Developer”.
4) Now Come Back or again open setting.
5) Now scroll down and open “Developer Option”.
6) Now find and tick on “USB Debugging”.
